Hello, my beautiful friends! Thanks for coming again! How are you living? I have to say that I LOVE films that portray determination, dreams, and guts! So, Today I am going to talk about a scary and inspiring movie called The walk!
The Walk (3D Blu-ray + Blu-ray) |
The Challenge is pretty severe. The realization of the dream of Frenchman Philippe Petit. The Walk is so fantastic that it will erase every thought in the back of your head, the inspiration to fulfill your dreams no matter how insane. The story is just an artist looking for satisfaction. The synopsis is a true story of a young dreamer, Philippe Petit, and a group of unlikely allies who together can illegally impose themselves in space between the towers of the World Trade Center in New York. With less than courage and blind ambition, Petit and his unconventional, overcoming intimidating group, blocks physical processes, betrayals, great attempts, and the odds of crushing his struggle to win the system and execute his crazy plan.
The story is pretty basic, and everything is resumed the moment Petit walks the rope between the two towers of the World Trade Center. The actor touches a little deeper and the glimpses of Petit's obsession, control, and compulsiveness. Only the crazy ones can make their dreams come true. As a street performer, he juggles flaming bowling pins and does magic tricks with his top hat and steals cafe umbrellas. During one performance, he eats a hard candy which was given to him by an audience member and injures his tooth. He visits the dentist and, while in the waiting room, sees a picture in a magazine of the Twin Towers in New York City.
The movie is a trip, and this trip is a scene in which the two towers of the World Trade Center are held. Our hearts stop.
Before this, Tension does start to build as the ragtag crew begins breaking in, shooting cables across one building to the other while avoiding security. It`s beautiful suspense!
The moment that he goes on the Wire, the scene is vertiginous and quite well done. It was terrifying to see him fulfilling his dream. Incredible CGI!
The film is quite unique and does the job very well with the source material. The result is rewarding. I recommend!
