Hello, my beautiful friends! Thanks for coming again! How are you living?
So, Today I am going to talk about an incredible action movie called Mission: Impossible – Fallout!
Mission: Impossible - Fallout (Includes Bonus Features) |
Mission: Impossible has never been a subtlety franchise. Since the first film, of 1996, that focused on the investigation above the significant effects, exploded a helicopter inside a tunnel.
In this one effect, strongly linked to the fifth feature, Ethan once again has to deal with Solomon Lane and is forced to work in partnership with CIA special agent August Walker. As an excellent example of gender, disputes between national espionage agencies. Conflict of methods of action, villain unmasking, endless pursuits, and portray is part of the package and are ingredients very well dosed by the director. Who on the other hand, does not even bother to hide antagonists, does not waste time with unnecessary explanations and adopts as a theme the kindness of its protagonist. The most expensive and most extended Mission: Impossible to date is also the most complicated in terms of plot. This time, Ethan Hunt seeks to avoid a nuclear threat while trying to prevent the escape of terrorist leader Solomon Lane - the villain of the previous movie - from prison. So many twists and turns that the viewer may sometimes need a few minutes to figure out what's really going on.
Grace comes from exchanging glances, unlikely plan, and counterplan and extended duration. Reactions without words and the well-known misfortune of Ethan Hunt, always involved in complex, surreal situations that only get worse. The CIA sends its own asset, the burly August Walker, to help oversee the mission and specifically Ethan Hunt. He must pose as a shadowy terrorist broker to maintain appearances with prominent figures in the criminal underworld. To get the nuclear parts, Ethan Hunt has to retrieve Solomon Lane and release him back into the open.
It is essential to praise the decision to insert into the film the outstanding record of the moment that Cruise broke his ankle and kept running, trying to preserve the recording.
Mission: Impossible: Fallout (Music From the Original Motion Picture) |
The terrorist group present in the plot is called Apostles. Attacks on sacred places are their priority, and the infallible Ethan gains the air of Jesus as the committed savior of mankind unable to "distract" himself with love interests. Backed by a small but faithful entourage, he trusts blindly, contrary to the use of firearms and defender of life. There is always a mostly invisible cross over your shoulders.
Two Fallout Effect factors deserve a highlight. The first place is prominent; Tom Cruise, at age 56, shines as never before on screen and challenges Ethan Hunt himself in truly absurd stunts. Especially when one knows the fact that the actor does not use stuntmen. The second is McQuarrie. It's a shame to see the franchise that has always given a chance to different visions not innovate in this direction. But if it is to give up that, the film was handed in competent hands. In only his fourth film as a director, McQuarrie follows Hunt's journey with thrilling sequences and flashy timing: the now-famous bathroom scene is a great example. But McQuarrie also has two essential names at his side. Rob Hardy as director of photography, and composer Lorne Balfe on the track, almost directly referring to Hans Zimmer. All this together makes Fallout Effect clearly result in the greatest Mission: Impossible. As we follow Ethan Hunt's journey to the ultimate consequences, the character is placed in absurd situations.
The difficult of a deal between personal and professional life seems to have been overcome, and the agent even showed this individual being strange to contemporaneity. A single gentleman, the last bastion of a particular time that no longer exists. Which is represented clearly in the scene in which Hunt finds himself isolated. Without action and without exit on the top of an old building in London, lost enemy of sight and surrounded by modern constructions.
All these elements - the cast, the soundtrack, the acrobatics and especially the plot - establish the promise of a high end, and the new Mission: Impossible delivery better than anyone: the chase sequence in helicopters at the end is fantastic.
