Resident Evil was released on March 22, 1996, for Sony Playstation, but received a 2002 remake for Nintendo Gamecube, which was most recently remastered in January 2015.
One day after the helicopter incident at Resident Evil Zero events, the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team is deployed to their rescue. The group is attacked by a pack of Cerberus (dogs infected with T-Virus). Faced with such a threat, Brad Vickers, the helicopter pilot, departs without his colleagues, finding refuge in an abandoned mansion near the site.

However, not everything goes as expected, and Tyrant ends the life of its creator, leaving Jill (or Chris) with the difficult task of destroying this threat.
Triumphing, our heroes escape this horrible mansion by destroying it, unaware that the nightmare had just begun.
Resident Evil 2

Resident Evil 2 was initially released on January 25, 1998, but only recently did it earn a remake for the new generation in January 2019.
It all seemed over, except for the infectious Toxin T-virus spreading through Racoon City's water network and starting to turn the population into bloodthirsty undead. This adventure introduced us to two completely different characters from the previous one, each with various events.
Although a young college student with a keen taste for motorcycles, Claire is determined and courageous. Both have no choice but to help each other, as they appear to be the only living souls in the city. However, due to an incident with Leon's police car, they both split up and find themselves at the local police station.

Leon also finds her in this location, after several escapes with an even more powerful new Tyrant at the police station. Ada does not seem to accept the help of the young policeman. Still, facing a mysterious scientist, Leon is injured when he tries to save Ada from certain death. The woman who shot Leon is Anette Birkin, Sherry's mother and wife of William Birkin, the creator of the G-Virus. He injected the virus himself to survive after an Umbrella mercenary named Hunk and his team appeared to collect the latest specimen of this deadly virus.
Yet, in the heart of these revelations, Anette claims that Ada is a spy before falling into a moat. Very reluctantly the alleged spy helps Leon recover and conveniently finds Sherry's necklace on his way to his next location, the Umbrella underground lab.
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

Although a third party, this delivery takes place before and during the adventure of Claire and Leon. Unlike previous births, it only puts the player at the command of a character: the well-known S.T.A.R.S. agent: Jill Valentine.
The brave policewoman is approached by a potent new threat that shatters the head of her colleague and friend Brad Vickers. Nemesis is his name, and destroy all members of S.T.A.R.S. This is because they witnessed the Umbrella's sins. Jill quickly realizes that the city has become a real battlefield, where literally no one is safe, dead, or alive! Not even Umbrella itself. Three U.B.C.S. members, Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service, who have been betrayed try to survive and escape. They plan to reach the clock tower for the payoff.

The trip to the place was hectic. Not only was the group constantly attacked by Nemesis, but Nemesis shatters everyone's hopes by firing a missile at the rescue helicopter. To complicate matters further, Jill became infected with the Nemesis T-Virus. Luckily Carlos Oliveira, one of the U.B.C.S. members, can find a cure for Jill, who was unconscious for 3 days. When Jill recovers, she realizes that Nikolai, one of Carlos's companions, was actually an Umbrella undercover agent. This one was singled out to end not only Jill but Carlos as well, as both had all the evidence to incriminate the pharmaceutical giant. In the last duel against B.O.W, Jill finally triumphs by firing a substantial electric shock at the monster. The young girl, Carlos, and Barry via (helicopter) see the end of Racoon City in the sky, sighing with relief that this great nightmare is over.
Resident Evil – Code: Veronica
Code Veronica X introduces Claire as protagonists of the adventure. The character travels to Europe for clues about his brother Chris Redfield. But after being caught by Umbrella, Claire is taken to Antartica, where she witnesses more atrocities from the company with the virus that transforms people and zombies.

This game is the classic return to 128-bit consoles without any significant modifications. Contrary to what is announced, Capcom has forgotten to hit the game's graphics and gameplay, which are a well outdated and only appeal to franchise fans and other onlookers.
Resident Evil Zero

We literally started from scratch with Resident Evil Zero. Initially released in 2002 for Nintendo Gamecube, but with events taking place on July 1998, this game also received a remastered version in January 2016.
The Bravo team of the Special Tactics and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) police force is disposed to investigate. However, as it flew over the region, its helicopter crashes into the mountains and, like any great horror movie, the group splits off, leaving a novice agent on her own: Rebecca Chamber.
Shortly after that, the young girl discovers a convoy on fire that was attacked by Leeches, a few leeches that transmitted the transformative T-Virus to passengers, turning them into the living dead. Also on the train is former marine Billy Cohen, who has been charged with crimes he did not commit. When the alleged crashed train gets back into gear, Rebecca agrees to ally with Billy as long as the situation allows.

Our characters discover that this is where T-Virus was initially produced by the company Umbrella. This was the cause of the attack on the convoy, wishing to take revenge on Umbrella, not only for its murder but for its painful experiences.
Rebecca also learns that the Alpha teammates are investigating a mysterious mansion near the factory. But before joining them, both the girl and Billy have to finish off Marcus and Queen Leech.
Ultimately successful, Rebecca leaves to join her friends at the mansion, while Billy finally has his freedom (reportedly killed in the train wreck).
Resident Evil 4

The story of Resident Evil 4 revolves around Leon, now a secret government agenda. After the kidnapping of the president's daughter, Ashley Graham, the protagonist travels to a small village in Spain, seeking the whereabouts of the little one. But on arrival, Leon stumbles upon a sect that intends to infect the entire planet with a virus called La Plaga.
The highlight of the new version of Resident Evil 4 is what the title itself suggests, high definition graphics. It's nice to look at a game that a few years ago was a little blurry, and today has clean, well-textured graphics.

The generation advanced and along with it the gameplay and commands. And if you take into account that most of the players who bought RE 4 played RE 5, the backtracking adaptation is even worse. Unfortunately, the player will have to get used to the hard and outdated controls.
Resident Evil 4 H.D. comes back in style, impressing with its clean graphics and giving it the feel of a recent game. Its mechanics have been unchanged, causing the player to adapt to slow and outdated commands. If you have never played this classic, do not miss the opportunity to check out one of the best games in history.

Resident Evil 5 has unparalleled graphics power, in the foreground, the look scares, the features of the characters, movements, gestures ... perfect. Sound has always been a highlight of the series since its first version was just stereo. Quieter enemies are heard searching for you, hunting you, and all the ambient sound of the village. The music always enters the elements of higher tension or relief, following the nervousness of the player. Much of the psychological horror of the Resident Evil series is really in the sound.

The first player will always be Chris Redfield, and the second player is the muse Sheva Alomar. In addition to the two shooting their enemies, the two collaborate in many actions. To climb into a hard-to-reach spot, Chris throws Sheva and she solves the problem the other way. When there is a legion of enemies, they can exchange or donate items to each other and can help each other in times of despair or injury.

Since video games came into being, some franchises have revolutionized genres. Resident Evil was one of them. The Capcom series dared to carry an action-packed storyline, horror and various puzzles along the way. Such was the success that dozens of more titles were released next, as well as books, comic books, and even movies.
But given this success, Capcom decided to innovate, taking the franchise to a more action-focused path, which pleased some and bothered others. As such, the company found itself in the middle of a dilemma, and Resident Evil 6 shows very well how much this public opinion has been dividing its producers.
As in Resident Evil 2, the player has different campaigns, which at any given time are in the game. Only this time, they differ not only by the alternative path but by elements that interfere with the gameplay and the very meaning of the storyline.

Leon and Helena refer the player to a time travel. Bullets are thinner than usual, and zombies emerge until the last moment of history, not to mention the scares and the return of puzzles - even if it's simple to solve.
With Chris Redfield and Piers Nivan, Resident Evil 6 puts all the elements aside and leaves for a frantic action game. Instead of limited zombies, creatures smart enough to use weapons and more effective melee combat. This is undoubtedly the campaign that causes the most complaints from former franchise fans but appeals to fans of third-person action games. Already the plot focuses on the emotional side of the characters and features a series of unexpected twists.
Now the campaign of Jake Muller and Sherry Birkin aims to increase the adrenaline of the player. A mere resemblance to Resident Evil 3 can be perceived in the chase moments against Ustanak, as the creature closely resembles villain Nemesis.
Resident Evil 7

The story opens up with an old video of Mia apologizing to Ethan for lying. Years later, Ethan gets an email from Mia telling him to pick her up at the Baker residence in Dulvey, Louisiana.
The entry to the main house is barred by a large iron gate, so Ethan makes his way through a side passage that leads to the guest house. After moving through the house, Ethan finds Mia locked in a cell, dirty and frightened. She has no idea who sent him that email, but she knows that he must get out of that place before things get worse. While leading Ethan, she's taken by someone or something. He can only hear Mia's terrified screams. When finally returning upstairs, there's a mysterious phone call from a young woman. It turns out that it's Zoe Baker, the daughter of the family. She wants to escape, but she needs Ethan help to do it. For some reason, she's able to resist whatever it is that's turned her family members into homicidal maniacs and turns to Ethan with clues and assistance. Of course, before heading to help her, He is reunited with Mia.

Mia transforms. Her skin becomes veiny, her eyes dark, her teeth rotten. She develops immense strength as she chucks Ethan several feet into a wall. Something has infected her, yet it doesn't seem to have a complete hold as she can return to normal at times. The Bakers family are homicidal. After dealing with Mia in the beginning, Ethan is knocked out and taken to the primary residence where he sits down for a disgusting supper and sees how terrifying each member of the family is.
It turns out that they're infected with a new virus that they're apparently highly compatible with. The virus is spread by contact with an E-Series infected, which turned them into a D-Series. It works as a fungus, slowly replacing cells as it works its way up to the brain. It creates rapid regeneration within subjects as well as drastically improved strength.
Resident Evil 7 is a scary and violent blast of survival horror that sneaks up behind you before plunging a chainsaw in your gut. There's a real tension that comes from rounding a corner and running into several twisted creatures.
