Hello, my beautiful friends! Thanks for coming again! How are you living? So, Today I am going to talk about a movie franchise that I love! Star Wars! Most specifically, Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Solo: A Star Wars Story (With Bonus Content) |
Solo: A Star Wars Story is an action-packed and fast-paced addition to the Star Wars family of films with a surprisingly engaging story. The mission to the Spice Mines of Kessel which Threepion worried that he and Artoo might be sent to way back in the first few minutes of the original Star Wars. We also learn why Threepio felt that the Millennium Falcon had " a most peculiar dialect" back in The Empire Strikes Back." It turns out, is because the memory units of Lando's droid are loaded directly into the Falcon. The high-point of the film is a new Act Two heist that's the sci-fi equivalent of a train robbery. Things start off promising with the space craft being able to rotate around its rail, which tickles the imagination for plenty of dire hangings on. We even get a few preparatory words for the plan, though even those are relatively general. And then things start, and they immediately go bad and stay that way without satisfying complication.
Solo: A Star Wars Story (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) |
For every interesting revelation, like Han and Chewbacca first meeting and bonding. Solo doesn't put much concentrated thought with its heist set pieces. The characters stick to their ruse for about five minutes, and things immediately go wrong, and then it's just one messy, ongoing action sequence. Ultimately, Solo is just a highly entertaining side story that doesn't really have much importance in the overall story arc. But nonetheless, I would recommend it to the Star Wars fans everywhere if your expectations aren't expecting another science fiction classic.
While the ending is not a surprise in some sense as we know what happens next, much like with Rogue One. There's also plenty of thoughtful surprises in store for the hardcore fan to geek out about.
