Boku no hero academia movie - Why did you choose that profession?
My Hero Academia - (僕ぼくのヒーローアカデミア Boku no Hīrō Akademia) is an anime series by Studio Bones based on the manga of the same name by Kohei Horikoshi. "Wikipedia"Hello, my beautiful friends! Thanks for coming again! How are you living? So, Today I am going to talk about an anime called Boku, no hero Academia.
My Hero Academia: Two Heroes is set between the second and third seasons of the anime series, the film was directed by Kenji Nagasaki and produced by Bones. Anime Expo hosted the film's world premiere on July 5, 2018.
About the series, In the universe of Boku no Hero, 80% of the world's population has some superhuman trait. It all started in Qing Qing, China, where they reported the birth of a mysterious baby, which emitted its light. After the first case, other similar phenomena arose, and soon, what was once considered extraordinary became commonplace. With the increase, it was expected that some would use their skills to perform evil deeds. The high crime rate has caused some courageous people to fight injustice, and thus, the "dream profession" has become a reality.
In this world full of extraordinary beings, we have Midoriya Izuku, a 15-year-old boy who dreams of becoming a hero. However, fate seems to want the opposite. Even after this disappointment, Izuku decides to pursue his goals without worrying about the opinions of others. In the universe of Boku no Hero, there is a hero that stands out before the others. His name is Toshinori Yagi, better known by the hero name, All Might. Its strength is such that the majority population has it as the symbol of peace. One day while returning home, Izuku was attacked by a villain who was acting in the area. Before he succumbed to the evildoer, he heard the characteristic laugh followed by All Might's catchphrase.
The heroes were perplexed by the young man's selfless attitude and set off on an unbridled career to prevent the worst from happening. At the last moment, inspired by little Izuku's heroism, All Might recover his strength and defeats the evildoer.
Throughout history, we have noticed that Toshinori has many American traits, such as his clothes, colors of the American flag (blue, red, and white). And the use of English expressions such as, "All my best," "Nonsense," and his name. The term All Might comes from the English language and has the literal meaning "Everything can" or "Everything is possible" in a better adaptation. The Hero who represents peace is also a symbol of hope. Embodying the idea that we can achieve our goals if we work hard and believe.
In the future, most people are born with some unique ability called Peculiarity. These gifts, of course, also manifest in people who use them for evil, which gives rise to the need for superheroes to fight them. But now superheroes do not have to hide their identities, for it is a regulated and admired profession, a dream of many young people. One such youth is Midoriya Izuku, the protagonist.
Midoriya dreams of being a hero and has the great idol All-Might, one of the greatest heroes in the world, known as the Peace Symbol. The problem is that, unfortunately, Midoriya is one of the rare cases born without Peculiarity. However, one day, he shows great courage in trying to save his classmate Bakugou from a villain. A scene witnessed by All Might himself, who eventually decides to help the boy become a superhero and join U.A., a school. For prestigious heroes. Midoriya receives from All Might his Characteristic, One For All, and we follow his challenges in the U.A. The boy is surrounded by talented and skilled people. In addition to the challenges post by the school. Midoriya also has to deal with peers whose personalities are challenging, especially Bakugou, a young man he has known since childhood. Bakugou is also inspired by All Might, but his explosive temper and bullying make him unbalanced. His exceptional powers are seen by colleagues and teachers. But he is not always able to achieve his goals because of his temperament (which turns out to be a challenge that Bakugou himself must face). Many other characters have their dreams and ambitions. Uraraka is a young woman who wants to help her parents financially. Lida dreams of being a great hero, just like her older brother; Todoroki has father-related childhood traumas that she needs to get over, and so on. And it's so refreshing to keep up with the growth of these young people not only as heroes but also as people.
The animation itself is fantastic. Because it's a fighting anime, it's fantastic to see the fluidity of the movements and the quality of the episodes. The soundtrack is also great and exciting, which matches the frantic tone of most events. Another cool thing is that - despite having some predictable plots (such as tournaments and training). The anime has many twists and events that make the viewer tense, wondering what will happen and if the heroes can stop the villains' plans.
But, since not everything is flowers, my negative criticisms start with the villains. There are some more interesting ones, but in general, the situations are more distressing than the villains themselves. So far none have posed a REAL threat, except for All Might's archenemy All For One. Another flaw that My Hero Academy has is shared with so many other anime in the genre.
However, despite the fights are engaging and exciting, what most moves us is the overcoming of the characters. It's pretty cliché in anime (especially shounen, geared toward young male audiences, full of fighting plots). But it's still hard not to get goosebumps when some character can push their limits and do something they couldn't before. Midoriya is the most excellent example of this, being someone whose determination is unshakable. Each time he demonstrates greater control over the high power of One For All, we want to vibrate with him!
My Hero Academy is an anime with very charismatic characters. Brings a new way to work the idea of superheroes (which can be considered saturated Today, although I love). And has episodes that hold and create an expectation. If you have an affinity for anime, it is VERY worth giving a try!
If you have seen any movie based on the Japanese animated series, you probably already know what to expect. In My Hero Academy: 2 Heroes - The Movie we have a story whose purpose is only to be an excuse to see the characters of the series on the big screen. Without necessarily offering any continuity with the anime. Midoriya and his mentor All Might travel to a floating island that will host a festival of exaltation to the heroes of the world. There they meet scientist Dr. Shiled, All Might's longtime friend, and his daughter Melissa, a powerless girl. And of course, everyone gets involved in a kidnapping of a villain-sponsored building, leaving it to the Hero's apprentice and his friends to use their powers to solve the situation.
A quick flashback at the beginning of the movie explains this world. In which 80% of people have special powers, introduces the concept of heroes, and tells how Midoriya, formerly a powerless person, received the individuality of the strongest of heroes, All Might. Other moments bring subtle explanations about the anime, such as the presentation scene of the primary students of the school of heroes, whose function is to show their powers and personalities.
It is impossible to tell a story with so many students, the script chooses to send only a few of them to the island. In this way, each character manages to have screen time. Problem-solving skills in the main plot of the movie. Midoriya and his friends must reach the top floor of the abducted tower to face villains, and they are parting ways to deal with other threats.
The film bets heavily on the charisma of the characters and the action scenes. While the "talk" scenes always try to move the story using different character conflicts, at the time of the fucking thing is refreshing to see. With far more budget than on the television series, Bones studio was able to create battle scenes as impactful as those of a Marvel movie. From the first scene, in which a young All Might face missiles in the U.S., to the final battle with Midoriya using his full potential against the film's villain. There are exciting angles, inspired choreography, and distressing moments for the viewer.
My Hero Academy: 2 Heroes. If you already like the original series or are curious to understand why so much talk about My Hero Academy, this movie can guarantee good entertainment. I rarely get excited and end up going more out of curiosity. With Boku no Hero, it was different because the film came at a time of significant growth for the anime, which generated a massive hype for Two Heroes. Boku no Hero's has shot among the best developed in the plot category.
The result was more than positive. Its development is proper, the technical part was used to work within the work, which should have facilitated the process. Boku no Hero Academy: Two Hero tried to involve some new points within the plot. Such as the past story of All Might and how he came to be this Hero consecrated by all. Which leads me to wonder, "Can Kohei Horikoshi ever take some of these ends and tie them to another within his manga and make them canonical?" Melissa character. Anyway, summing it up, it was a great start in the movie world for Boku no Hero, which may be the first of many movies yet to come.
